our PHILOSOPHY
Impact Landscapes & Design Ltd. was founded by Lyndon and Sharon Dyck in 2005.
Lyndon spent a decade working with a local landscaping company before starting Impact — learning the trade from the ground up and building a reputation for work done right.
Sharon, meanwhile, was carving her own path through the landscape and garden industry, eventually running her own design business before they joined forces.
Together, they bring decades of hands-on experience in landscape design, construction, and horticulture — and a genuine love for what well-done outdoor spaces can do for a home.
Our work is shaped by how people actually use their outdoor spaces. The goal is always the same: a landscape that feels comfortable and inviting from day one, and gets better with time.

Our Story
We started Impact Landscapes because we love the work — designing outdoor spaces, building them well, and seeing them through to the end.
Since 2006, that mindset hasn’t changed. We stay involved, keep things straightforward, and focus on doing good work without overcomplicating the process.
Our work is handled in-house, from early design through construction. That allows us to make decisions carefully, solve problems as they come up, and keep the project moving.
Our Method
Impact Landscapes is led by Lyndon and Sharon Dyck.
Lyndon leads construction on site, making sure projects run smoothly and are done right. He earned his Journeyman Landscaper Certification in 2002 and spent a decade working in the trade before founding Impact Landscapes.
Sharon brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to design and planning. She holds a diploma in Horticulture with a major in Landscape, and her background spans the garden industry, landscape design, and running her own design business before Impact. She helps turn ideas into spaces that feel natural, functional, and beautiful.
We stay closely involved throughout each project, because that's how the best work happens.
