our PHILOSOPHY

Impact Landscaping was founded by Lyndon and Sharon Dyck in 2006. 

Lyndon earned his Journeyman Landscaper Certification in 2002 and spent a decade working with a local landscaping company before starting Impact. He leads construction on site, making sure every project runs smoothly and is built properly. He also has a keen eye for detail and design!

Sharon holds a diploma in Horticulture, majoring in Landscape. Before Impact, she worked with a local landscaper, a garden centre, and operated her own landscape design business. 

Together, they bring decades of hands-on experience in landscape design, construction, and horticulture.

Our work is shaped by how people actually use their outdoor spaces. The goal is always the same: a landscape that feels comfortable and inviting from day one, and gets better with time.

We started Impact Landscapes because we love the work — designing outdoor spaces, building them well, and seeing them through to the end.

Since 2006, that mindset hasn’t changed. We stay involved, keep things straightforward, and focus on doing good work without overcomplicating the process.

Our work is handled in-house, from early design through construction. That allows us to make decisions carefully, solve problems as they come up, and keep the project moving.

Impact Landscapes is led by Lyndon and Sharon Dyck. 

Lyndon leads construction on site, making sure projects run smoothly and are done right. With decades of experience in landscape construction and a Journeyman Landscaper certification behind him, he keeps a close eye on the details that make a project last.

Sharon brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to design and planning. With her horticulture background and years spent in landscape design and the garden industry, she helps turn ideas into spaces that feel natural, functional, and beautiful.

We stay closely involved throughout each project, because that’s how the best work happens.
